Virginia Bath Works was created to give homeowners a better bathroom remodeling experience. We wanted to build a company that focuses on clear communication, dependable scheduling, quality materials, and clean installation from the first conversation to the final walkthrough.
After seeing how stressful remodeling can feel for homeowners, we built our process around making the project easier to understand and easier to manage. That means explaining options clearly, setting realistic expectations, protecting the home during the work, and standing behind the finished result.
As a local Hampton Roads company, our reputation matters on every project. We are not trying to be the biggest remodeling company in the area. We are focused on doing quality work, communicating clearly, and building trust one bathroom at a time.

Virginia Bath Works is led by a hands-on team focused on clear communication, organized projects, and quality installation from the first consultation to the final walkthrough.
Jacob Denham
Owner / Operator
Jacob founded Virginia Bath Works with a focus on building a bathroom remodeling company homeowners can trust. As a United States Navy veteran and former search-and-rescue aircrewman, he brings discipline, attention to detail, and accountability to the way each project is planned, communicated, and managed.
Before starting Virginia Bath Works, Jacob gained experience in home improvement marketing, website strategy, customer experience, and service-business operations. Today, he leads the consultation process, explains options clearly, sets expectations, and makes sure each homeowner feels comfortable before moving forward.
Doug Cook
VP of Operations / Project Manager
Doug leads production and installation for Virginia Bath Works. He brings over 30 years of experience in stone masonry and home improvement, along with more than 3,000+ bathroom installations completed throughout Hampton Roads.
On each project, Doug is focused on jobsite preparation, clean workmanship, organized scheduling, and making sure the details are handled correctly inside the home. He also helps guide installation standards as Virginia Bath Works continues building a dependable team to support future projects.
